Softcover. Fair. Text is clean & unmarked; however, the top corner of most pages is missing due to gnawing (this does not effect text). Pages are browned with age; some foxing/spotting esp toward beginning & end of book. Heavy cover wear with tattering along all edges; significant chipping along spine—spine paper is missing from top & bottom (binding is still intact, however).
Hardcover pamphlet. Pages 410-456 reprinted from book "Light from Old Times." Fair condition. Underlining, notes, marginal marks on 11 pages (both pencil & ink). Previous owner's name written on front cover & ffep. Binding intact but weakened (spine paper missing with title hand written). Large tear of last page; piece of lower corner missing from pp 420 & 426. Label partially removed from inside back cover.
