1887 Edition Hardcover. Good. Previous owner's handwritten inscription on ffep, dated 1887. Text is clean & unmarked; browned with age.Brown spotting (foxing) on pp 18-29; 252-258. Front hinge mildly cracked toward top; rear hinge uncracked. Sound binding. Moderate cover wear with faint staining on back (moisture?), fine spotting on front & on spine; rubbing of corners & spine ends. Mild spine cocking. No DJ.
