Hardcover. Rare full leather Puritan book. 373 pages. Cracking of rear hinge; front hinge has been reinforced. Solid binding. Inscriptions on front & rear endpapers. Blue ink stains on ffep, one page of Table of Contents, & two pages of Table of Texts. Text browned with age. Text has been trimmed & rebound (probably shortly after publication). Corners of pages 23 & 75 missing (please see photos). Scattered brown spots & damp staining throughout. Small wormhole in gutter in first part of book (does not affect text). Neat underlining (in black ink) detected on seven pages. Scuffing/wear to leather with rubbing of corners; linear 4in/10cm tear, thin piece of leather missing from back cover (please see photo). Overall, book in good condition for age. No DJ.
