Pierre Viret——a forgotten giant of the Reformation——was unreservedly surrendered to Christ and more Christ-like than anyone of whom I have ever read. His unwavering commitment to biblical Truth combined with his sweet, humble, peace-loving spirit makes him a shining example of Ephesians 4:15 "speaking the truth in love." We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful biography by Rachel Sheats. She has done a truly masterful job of painting a beautiful portrait of a man whom Christ used powerfully and humbly for His eternal glory!
