Full leather. Fair+/Good– condition. Missing ffep. Water staining to upper corner of title page & first 4 pages. Foxing/spotting throughout. There are two letters and a number in ink inside front cover. Cracking of front hinge (hinge is intact). The rear endpaper is attached at the bottom, only an inch. Swelling of lateral text block (please see photo). Remains of a hand-done paper label on spine. Edge wear and rubbing to the leather, and a spot on front cover where leather has worn away, one by 1/4 inch. 5 raised bands on spine.
Hardcover. Fair+/Good– Full leather. Spine rebound at a later date using light tan leather. Foxing/spotting/browning throughout with damp staining to upper edge of text. Previous owner's name written at bottom of title page & dated 1794. No marks, underlining or highlighting detected. Heavy rubbing of free corners of cover. Scuffing/discoloration front & back.
